Over a thousand research projects are currently under way at the 成人头条, either in response to the national context or to solve global challenges. Our 1,500 researchers work in international teams in the research departments of our faculties and interdisciplinary centres. Several projects are carried out in collaboration with other academic partners or with industry and the public sector.

The FSTM offers multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science and life sciences and medicine. -
Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance (FDEF)
The FDEF has three departments: the Department of Law, the Department of Finance and the Department of Economics and Management. -
Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE)
The FHSE covers a wide range of fields such as behavioural and cognitive sciences, education and social work, humanities and social sciences, and geography and spatial planning.

Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT)
SnT is an internationally renowned research and innovation centre that works to establish Luxembourg as a European centre of excellence for secure, reliable and trustworthy ICT systems and services. -
Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB)
The LCSB develops and applies systems-level approaches and experimental computational methods to gain an insight into the molecular and cellular mechanisms of human diseases. -
Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH)
The key focus areas of the C2DH are the history of Luxembourg and Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries and the burgeoning field of digital history, which explores how digital technology can be applied to historical research. -
Luxembourg Centre for European Law (LCEL)
The LCEL is an interdisciplinary centre advancing European law, focusing on digital and green transitions and European sovereignty. It aims to make Luxembourg a premier hub for European legal studies. -
Luxembourg Centre for Socio-Environmental Systems (LCSES)
The LCSES (founded in March 2025) is to become a think tank for a more sustainable and equitable world.
Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS)
The Institute for Advanced Studies (IAS) Luxembourg is an interdisciplinary research hub at the 成人头条. With a focus on excellence, interdisciplinarity and internationality, the IAS drives cutting-edge research, fosters collaboration and attracts global talent. It serves as a bridge between the 成人头条versity community, global visitors, and society, positioning the 成人头条versity as a key player in the international research and innovation landscape.
