Welcome to the AI Caf茅 2025
Dear reader,
Luxembourg has set ambitious goals to position itself as a digital pioneer in Europe. In the strategic paper , three key objectives were laid out:
- To be among the most advanced digital societies in the world, especially within the EU
- To become a data-driven and sustainable economy
- To support the development of human-centric AI
This vision embraces innovation in the public sector – through the promotion of smart cities, fostering a trustworthy and people-centred approach to AI in industry and society, enhancing digital skills, and increasing public understanding of AI. The aim: to strengthen digital sovereignty while aligning with European values.
Just recently, a follow-up paper was released: . It builds on the earlier vision and sets the tone for the coming years. Luxembourg aspires to become a living laboratory for AI in Europe – a place where digital and technological innovation is driven by human values, agility, sustainability, and international collaboration.

The strategy supports not only technological and economic progress but also the well-being of its citizens.”
In light of these developments, this year鈥檚 AI Caf茅 will focus on Luxembourg鈥檚 strategic vision for AI and digital transformation. Our goal is to create a space for dialogue, discovery, and collaboration – with citizens, experts, and entrepreneurs alike. Let鈥檚 shape the future of AI in Luxembourg, together.
