Our research focuses on fundamental issues of private law from a comparative law perspective.

Largely due to Luxembourg鈥檚 historical relationships with its neighbours, the individual and collective research undertaken by the group鈥檚 members is necessarily and inherently developed from a comparative law perspective, looking primarily but not exclusively at French and Belgian Civil Law, with which Luxembourg Civil Law shares a large community of sources.
