Energy provider <a href=\"https:\/\/www.enovos.lu\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Enovos<\/a> has announced its final investment decision, officially launching the implementation phase of the hydrogen valley. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next phase will focus on engineering and construction preparation. Building works are scheduled to begin in late 2026, and the facility should be ready to produce hydrogen in 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LuxHyVal will contribute to Luxembourg\u2019s climate and energy objectives by supporting the development of low-carbon solutions for industry and transport. At the heart of the facility: a 5 MW electrolysis unit that will produce renewable hydrogen using electricity generated from renewable energy sources. The hydrogen will serve both industrial applications and the mobility sector, with the deployment of 18 fuel-cell buses expected to reduce CO\u2082 emissions by approximately 5,000 tonnes per year. Additional renewable hydrogen will be provided to industry to offset current consumption of non-renewable hydrogen, contributing to Luxembourg\u2019s efforts to decarbonise key parts of its economy. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-spacer is-spacer-size-sm\"><\/div>\n\n\n<section class=\"wp-block-unilux-blocks-quote-people\">\n    <div class=\"quote-people\" role=\"group\">\n        <figure class=\"quote-people__body\">\n            <blockquote class=\"quote-people__blockquote\">\n    <span class=\"quote-people__quote\">\u201f<\/span>\n    LuxHyVal is a real example of advanced technology being integrated in Luxembourg to drive forward the decarbonisation of industry and mobility.
