Yannick Buschhardt is a PhD student in the Department Physics and Materials Science at the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ. He is member of the group Surface and Interface Physics led by Professor Alex Redinger.

Yannick Buschhardt’s research focuses on synthesising chalcogenide perovskites via low-temperature routes, targeting phase-pure materials around 600 °C. He develops and optimises heat-treatment protocols to achieve well-defined crystal structures. He employs analytical techniques (PL, SEM, Raman spectroscopy, etc.) to characterise their phase composition and optical properties.

Yannick Buschhardt completed his Bachelor’s degree at the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõversity of Bayreuth and his Master’s degree at the Friedrich-Alexander ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõversity Erlangen-Nürnberg..
