Nora Isabel Nicolai is a PhD candidate in the Department of Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences at the Institute of Health and Behaviour. Within the framework of her interdisciplinary PhD project “LeukoKids – Impact of early life stress on health in children with leukaemia”, she combines the fields of psychology, medicine, and epigenetics (supervisor: Prof. Dr. Claus V枚gele). Collaborations partners include the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH), the Klinikum Mutterhaus der Borrom盲erinnen, the Gemeinschaftsklinikum Mittelrhein gGmbH, the 成人头条versity of Lausanne and the 成人头条versity of Fribourg.
Before starting her PhD, she completed her master’s degree in Psychology: Psychological Intervention (health domain) at the 成人头条. She also studied Public Health and Leadership in Health at the 成人头条versity of California, Berkeley.
Her research interests focus on health psychology, child psychology, clinical psychology, medical psychology, public health, cancer research, leadership & management in health care.
