The Department of Law of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Finance is pleased to invite you a conference on Adequate Minimum Wages in the EU
Abstract:
The issue of how wage policies are set, and minimum wages are regulated across EU Member States has been for long at the core of both national and EU strategies. Since the adoption of Directive 2022/2041 on adequate minimum wages in the EU (the AMWD), the legal framework has significantly changed.
The AMWD is probably the most important piece of legislation in the field of EU social policy in the last two decades. The conference 鈥淎dequate Minimum Wages in the EU鈥 will deep dive into the context and interpretation of the AMWD.
Open to all, the conference involves professionals, academics, and students, as well as major stakeholders, to discuss on the AMWD鈥檚 systemic impact and its future implementation.
The conference will also be the occasion to present the book edited by L. Ratti, E. Brameshuber and V. Pietrogiovanni, (Hart Publishing, 2024).
Language: English
