From July 18 to 27, the \u201cTraces\u201d project includes two dedicated interactive installations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"ulux-list\">\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\"><strong>&#8220;Life Lines&#8221;<\/strong> invites participants to contribute to a collective artwork by adding a drawing powered by mathematics. This activity showcases the unifying power of mathematics, where individual creative expressions contribute to a shared narrative.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"ulux-list-item\"><strong>&#8220;Patterns&#8221;<\/strong> invites people to solve puzzles inspired by geometric designs. Through simple, yet generative rules, participants will uncover the hidden beauty of mathematical structures. Our activities connect deep mathematics, games and art in the simplest way, attracting over 500 daily active participants\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-unilux-blocks-heading\"        id=\"discover-people-and-research-on-neurodegenerative-diseases\"\n    >\nDiscover people and research on neurodegenerative diseases<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Idea Hall introduces Luxembourg as a test bed for future technologies. It highlights research carried out at the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine and other partners as part of the National Centre of Excellence in Research on Parkinson\u2019s Disease in an interactive exhibit. Luxembourg\u2019s Parkinson\u2019s research fosters longstanding ties with Japan: a collaboration with Japanese researcher Prof. Nobutaka Hattori from the RIKEN Centre for Brain Science recently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni.lu\/en\/news\/ground-breaking-discovery-for-diagnosing-neurodegenerative-diseases\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">led to the discovery of pathological forms of the alpha-synuclein protein present in the blood<\/a> of patients. Her video message introduces Luxembourg\u2019s excellent conditions and environment for innovation and collaboration.
