On 24 June 2024, the (FME) elected its new President, , former longstanding Member of the European Parliament and Vice-President of the European Commission. We wish her every success in her new role. Viviane Reding will work alongside Simone Beissel, Vice-President, and Jean-Marie Majerus, Secretary-General, as well as the other members of the Foundation
We would like to pay tribute to the Honorary President of the FME, – Prime Minister of Luxembourg (1984-1995), President of the European Commission (1995-1999) and President of the Academy of European Law (1992-2023) – for his tireless commitment and service to Europe over all these years, and we look back fondly on the many events for Europe Direct at the ͷ in which he and the Foundation participated since 2018.
