Carbon management involves reducing emissions and using a set of nature- or technology-based solutions to capture, store, transport and use atmospheric CO2 emissions from human activities. The European ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõon is committed to achieving climate neutrality by 2050 and is striving to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by 90% by 2040.
At the initiative of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity, the Ministry of the Economy, and the ³ÉÈËÍ·Ìõ, and with the support of Luxinnovation, a conference on the state of the art of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) in Luxembourg will take place on 5 February, from 9.00 to 17.00, in Luxembourg-Belval.
The objectives of this conference are:
- to provide an overview of the status of CCUS at an international, European and national level, highlighting the opportunities and constraints of natural and technology-based solutions;
- to promote networking in the Luxembourg RDI ecosystem in the area of CCUS.
Are you an industrial, economic, or financial player? Are you a representative of academia or the public sector? Are you interested in the topic of carbon management? Save the date of 5 Feb 2025 on your calendar!
