The festival was launched with the aspiration to value the history of those forgotten or neglected by official narratives and to experiment with original forms of history creation and transmission. Each new edition brings together scholars, students, artists, and citizens to reflect upon a changing theme through shows, lectures, games, and other formats aimed at disseminating historical knowledge beyond academic circles. Following Dora Komnenovic’s and Ali茅nor Gandanger’s visit to Paris-Cr茅teil in May 2025 for the second edition of the FHP, S茅bastien Malaprade and St茅phane Michonneau returned the visit in October with a group of students of the .
